Acai Berry Side Effects
With media, internet, and local hype about the number one super food, the acai berry, many people are curious about any side effects that occur from the berries and whether or not they should be concerned. People with Hypertension are especially paranoid because mixing anything with their medication could be fatal.
However, even for those with Hypertension or any other medical conditions, there is no cause for concern. Acai berries, like any other fruit, are healthy and nutritious for everyone. They are wholesome, natural, and completely safe. Acai berry juice, acai berry pulp, and any acai berry supplements are entirely free of negative side effects.
Quite the contrary, actually, acai berries have numerous positive side effects. Some of these include weight loss, clearer skin, increased metabolism, increased energy/stamina, and proper digestive function.
Keep in mind, however, that when acai berries are mixed with other ingredients, specifically guarana, some side effects may occur. Guarana contains caffeine, which for some people causes problems. When mixed with acai, you still get the benefits, but may encounter side effects from the guarana.
As long as the acai berry isn’t mixed with other substances that cause negative effects, anything associated will only produce positive effects. The majority of pulps, juices, and supplements do not contain guarana or any other harmful substances.
